Significantly improved speakers of the third generation with aluminum diffuser are used as woofers. Woofers' magnets are ceramic. Optimal work of crossover is achieved due to the premium class components.

Mordaunt-Short Aviano 6 showed themselves well at almost all musical material. Perhaps, I would exclude only classical music from the list of recommended genres. All the rest was realistic enough. The speaker systems draw well the space, instruments, at the same time, have correct timbres, but with a distinctive signature mattness. Top is correct and organic. Metal is not felt in the tweeter's voice at all. Bass is not the deepest, slightly enlarges, breaking a generally good overall frequency balance. Sometimes you feel some kind of laziness or excessive slackness in it. It is noticeable in the transfer of energy, smooth of sharp edges, softening of dynamical contrasts. And this happens very correctly, I can't say that this is some kind of anomaly. Mordaunt-Short Aviano 6 just has such character, they are melancholic, and everything is well. Apparently, only a corresponding amplifier can add fire here, which will take the role of powerhouse. And you should select it very carefully.
