Infinity Primus 150 Bookshelf speakers

Infinity brand has always been associated with prestigious speaker system, rich with the most advanced technologies. It's hard to answer high image, when the budget is extremely limited, however, the engineers of Infinity Systems seem to succeed in it. Primus series consists of three shelf models. We chose the medium - with 135-mm woofers. Their diffusers are made of MMD material (aluminum with a ceramic coating). The same is also used for very lightweight 19-mm domes of the tweeters. The crossover has four order filters. The bodies are made of quite thick panels and have eyelets for wall mounting.

It's mind-gobbling how the developers achieve the refined and musically balanced sound in such an inexpensive system. If you don't take a noticeable (but pleasant to hear) rise at high frequencies into account, the rest of the band is the example of linearity. Infinity Primus 150 can sound powerfully, with impressive dynamics and at the same time with brilliant clarity. The loudspeakers withstand significant overloads in basses and in details, without roughness play discants. The stage is slightly expanded, is characterized by accurate localization and deep backgrounds. Low frequencies sound rich, intense, but the typical for the simplest bass-reflex design slight confusion, which sometimes prevents lower register to get a distinct structure, is still heard in basses.
