DALI Evidence 370 Bookshelf speakersEvidence series of Danish company DALI is consist of three classical systems and the acoustics of the central channel. Two-way Evidence 370 is its compact representative. A thick layer of black glass decorates the top panel - a strong design solution, solving the complex problem of converting speaker systems into an elegant piece of furniture without destroying of their acoustic advantages. The contact group supports any type of commutation. The developers obviously weren't able to skimp on the bass, making use of the smallness of the system's sizes: low frequencies play an imperial role in the generated by the pair image. Low-frequency information, significantly enriched by mid bass, is given in a good, even elegant manner without overexposures and other accompanying mud. The fullness of the bass seems to be a little obsessive only at very high volume levels. But any negative side effects haven't been noticed even at the work in extreme modes. In general, Evidence 370 immerses a listener in a very comfortable sound atmosphere in any kind of music. Tonal balance of the image exerts, particularly, in the uniformity of surround virtual space. At the same time the system gives a bit generalized image of the scene and this, however, doesn't interfere to form a fairly clear imagination about the allocation of apparent sources. The scale of symphonic action is observed correctly. High-frequency information is represented adequately, the tweeter lights its controlling field with soft, a bit diffused light: quite detailing and without accents. Increased volume levels cope well with high frequencies. Evidence 370 gives good, comfort, strong and, I want to say, true Danish sound. Somebody might call it "pedantic" - not we. The system will be appeal to discerning, educated with "live" sound listener and, surely, has no any genre's contraindications as well as it has no special requirement to a listener room. Note that the developer recommends you to "warm up" carefully the system before the "ceremonial" listening - for the stabilization of its mechanical and acoustic parameters. |
