Piega TP 5 S Floor standing speakers

TP5 S refers to the line, holding the middle position in the model range of Piega. This is a junior, quite lightweight and very compact floor speaker system in the TP line. In fact, it is a reduced copy of TP 5. You see the same ribbon tweeter (not coaxial), the same pair of LF/MF-speakers and the bass-reflex port directly under them. Due to the compactness these speaker systems will easily find place in any room. You can place them directly close to wall. Very neat design delights the eye and at the same time it is not intrusive. Metallic protective grill is made at full height and securely held in the grooves on the front wall. The terminals are placed in the very bottom directly from the body without any additional panels. Therefore, you should carefully connect the cables - so that they do not touch the body by naked part. A small metal footing is enough to the speaker systems to stand confidently on the floor. The footing rests upon small soft plastic legs. Spikes as well as threaded holes for them are not provided.

Starting to listen to TP5 S you immediately mark that there are a lot of air in the sound and penciled details, musical picture is extremely realistic, very transparent and three-dimensional. With this in mind Piega by sound becomes closer to electrostatic system and by tonal strictness the pair surpasses even the latter. The speaker systems articulate material unusually sharp, beautiful and volumetric sound appears freely, as if arising from silence. One of the most attractive features of the Swiss pair is the harmony of sound and absolute absence of seams. The pair is not intended to produce very loud sounds and deep bass. In the meantime, the dynamical range of the model is wide and the bass quality is high.
