Canton Ergo 620 Bookshelf speakers

By the standards of German developers, Canton Ergo 620 refers to shelf speaker systems for small rooms. However, monitors are quite large and heavy - each weighs over 7 kg (15.4 lb). Here is a two-way scheme with the bass-reflex's port on the back wall. The branded head with 180-mm (7") diffuser made of extruded aluminum, mounted on unusual long-stroke Wave Surround suspension, works in low frequencies. An inch tweeter joins starting from 3000 Hz (crossover frequency). Its light diaphragm is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, differing by high rigidity and minimal weight. In addition, for better dispersion the manufacturer uses a small horn in the construction of HF-head.

Canton Ergo 620 monitors have very wide working band and just gorgeous for shelf systems macro-dynamics. They show smooth by ear tonal balance and high clarity of playback at any volume level. We will particularly note powerful and boomy bass, but slightly losing lightness near lower border. Perfect neutrality appears at the work with MIDs too. Whistling sibilants are almost inaudible in voices, and you can notice minimum synthetics in timbres of natural instruments. Tweeter has excellent sound resolution and accurately plays not only discants, but the smallest sound details. Space is quite clearly held by scale and has visible removed plans. Localization of sources is most complete in its central part.
