Secondly, Primare DVD30 allows you to connect to the system through both standard digital and analog outputs, as well as balanced lines - there are two-channel analog output and digital AES/EBU. When playing CDs, you can activate the CD Digital Direct mode - the signal will go the shortest way, not via DSP, but directly to the digital filter and 192 kHz/24-bit DACs. The mechanical part of DVD30 is also respectful: the transport is quiet and fast, the chassis is made of a non-magnetic plate of decent thickness. The more expensive and complex symmetrical circuitry (and everything in DVD30 is implemented that way) is always presented as a virtue. Primare DVD30 sounds quite accurate, very informative and without coloring. It easily catches and shows a fundamental difference in the sound of media, which indicates a high level of audio path resolution. The edges of the range, dynamics and microdynamics are transferred without the slightest defect. DVD30 confidently and picturesquely forms the space - both the main stage and surround. But the feeling that all this perfection is living its own life does not leave you. Performing emotionality in the sound is shown rather weakly, expression is formalized, but the liveliness and immediacy, so appreciated by music lovers, that actually draws you to music during playback, gave way in Primare DVD30 to technocratic sound, which it is interesting, perhaps, only to analyze.
