Energy XL-C100 Center Speaker

Energy XL-C100 is positioned by the developers as universal speaker system of the central channel for combining with the speaker system of XL series. XL-C100 is possible to be considered as modified version of XL-C. New speaker system has different sizes, new speakers and protective-decorative grill. Only the style of the faceplate's layout with a characteristic protrusion of the tweeter's unit stayed the same. Frequency response differs by high uniformity; orientation is heightened; the value of lower border is high. XL-C100 is quite a delicate center. Combining with strict compact shelf speaker systems you will get a unified panorama with good resolution in front. Voices sound realistic, without excessive accents. The system has a good dynamical resource; some leveling of relief happens only at strong differences of level (explosion) in midrange. In rational volume limits the device works clear. High frequencies are particularly good in this sense. With floor standing speaker systems the image o space becomes uncertain, slightly blurred.

Energy XL-C100 is a perfect variant for theatres, built on small-sized speaker system. From our point of view, the best variant is four XL-150 (two to the front and two to the rear) with XL-C100 in the center.
