Klipsch RC-25 Center SpeakerKlipsch RC25 looks quite classic, oval holes of bass-reflexes and ceramic metal MF/LF speakers, looking like "copper ones", give it some chic. In the center there is Tractix Horn, which a 25-mm titanium tweeter works in. Among other things the branded Tapered-Array technology is used in the speaker system. RC-25 is built by 2,5-way scheme, so one speaker works for mid frequencies and both together serve low frequencies. The manufacturer promises smooth and accurate sound not only on one axis with speakers, but at an angle, where usual "centers" lose in transparency and detailing. The speaker system can be installed at an angle to surface - for this you should thread a special screw, playing the role of a leg, in the bottom panel. Protective grill is mounted on magnets, what is very handy. However, without it RC-25 looks much more expressively. At the playing of movie scenes the system gives the listener just the firework of very fine details. It seems that every single sound up to "grains of sand" is heard. There is no importunity at all in the detailing, sound does not distress - probably, due to tonal smoothness and little distortion. Klipsch RC25 plays quite graphically, perfectly and clearly articulating actors' speech. Music elements are expressive, but they need a little bit more timbre depth and plastic. This system pretends to leadership positions by many characteristics. ![]() |
