Magnat Quantum 630A SubwooferMagnat Quantum 630A subwoofer is distinguished by its solid dimensions, considerable weight and an impressive driver's caliber of 12 inches. It is installed on the bottom wall of the case and works to the floor. The waves reflected from it enhance sound pressure due to phase interaction, which can give a noticeable increase in level. The case is made of thick MDF boards and finished with high-quality vinyl film, and the front panel is covered with fashionable piano varnish. A powerful port of the bass reflex is displayed on it, giving the subwoofer the appearance of a very serious device. The energy potential of Magnat Quantum 630A is also respectable. It has a 320-watt amplifier with a smart control system that limits the amplitude of the membrane to prevent distortion. The crossover allows tuning from 50 to 200 Hz, the phase of the signal is inverted with a 0/180 degrees switch. Input connectors are both linear and acoustic. There are also RCA outputs for connecting another subwoofer. On the musical phonograms, the sub showed an extremely deep bass, in terms of which it is noticeably superior to most competitors. The sound seems very mobile and well-designed in the main part of the range. But at the very bottom, the relief slightly blurs, concentration is lost. However, in the overwhelming majority of cases, the attack is completely natural, after-tones are transmitted correctly. At a reasonable volume, Magnat Quantum 630A does not show the slightest sign of compression; it is perfect for lovers of symphonic music. The sound of the blockbusters turned out to be very exciting due to the most powerful return in the infra-low area, the wide dynamic range and the speed of the average bass. |
