Mission 79AS Subwoofer

Here is the top active Mission subwoofer from the older 79 series, which also includes the speaker systems of the highest-class. The driver, working in a closed design, is located at the bottom of the body. The 10-inch diffuser is stamped from an aluminum alloy with the addition of ceramics particles (patented Keraform technology). The driver can boast of a cast chassis, enlarged in diameter by a voice coil and a magnetic system of increased power. British engineers consider 300W nominal power of the built-in amplifier of AB class sufficient, and they put to the first place sound quality. The subwoofer is equipped with a powerful microprocessor that controls the basic sound settings, and the current data are displayed to the front display. To simplify the installation process, the Mission 79AS is equipped with a remote control, with which (in addition to the basic functions) you can enter up to four user presets.

The Mission 79AS is characterized by high fidelity reproduction of bass lines with minimal external coloration. Magnificent high-speed data and excellent damping of the side-tones literally amaze. The advantages of the sub include the complete absence of case sounds at any volume levels and the correct low-frequency attack. However, the general macro-dynamics is a bit (and, probably, deliberately) limited. With all this, the phonograms of various difficulties are reproduced without problems, but in the most groovy moments the subwoofer as if cools down.
