Energy V-SW10 Subwoofer

This subwoofer refers to top models of Energy and is included into the famous Veritas series. Its appearance meets the most modern tendencies - the body is covered with black grand piano lacquer and rests on unusual by form legs. The driver with the caliber of 10 inches has the frontal location and is loaded on the bass-reflex, two air ports of which are placed on the back wall. The diffuser, made of fiber glass, has a fabric structure. Surely, there is the patented by the Canadian engineers construction of suspension of elliptical form with transverse notches (Ribbed Elliptical Surround). An amplification part of the sub is built according to BASH principle, the main advantage of which is the highest efficiency at low energy consumption. And it's hard to argue with this because the built-in in V-SW10 scheme is able to give up to 1200 W of the peak power. The sub is equipped with linear and high-level inputs and can work in auto mode, turning on when the signal goes to any of inputs.

While the setting of sub it turned out that Energy V-SW10 is designed primarily for playing of the lowest frequencies and works best when the band is narrowed to max. In this case bass differs by sufficient power in combination with crushing dynamics, but slightly overlong signal attack. This model best copes with separate bass parts - at the abundance of low frequencies in the recording a slight confusion may appear in sound. Side tones of the body are not heard even at thunderous volume - you can rather feel air noise, coming from bass-reflex ports.
