Magnat Omega 250 LTD Subwoofer

Magnat Omega 250 LTD subwoofer body has an original design. Its main part consists of massive MDF boards pulled together from the inside, and the base plate fixed through aluminum racks has a thickness of 30 mm, due to which possible resonances are minimized. The driver is directed to the floor. Acoustic design is bass-reflex with low noise Airflex port. The 260-mm diffuser is compressed from cellulose impregnated with a special hardening compound. The driver is notable for a ventilated voice coil and an enlarged magnetic system. As an amplifier, Omega 250 LTD uses a discrete circuit that produces up to 400 watts of peak power. For the most accurate reproduction of low frequencies, there are an additional active correction and a limiter, which gently limits the diffuser stroke at large amplitudes.

The subwoofer is characterized by a high speed of response, an accurate attack and a solid low-frequency potential. The sound of Magnat Omega 250 LTD differs by a high degree of naturalness and sophisticated structure. Thin bass lines are clearly drawn - the sound stays intelligible even with a heavy bass attack. Unfortunately, in some cases, a slight tint is caught, caused by the sounds of the bass-reflex port, and at extremely low bass some delay in after-tones is possible. But this happens at rather high volume, so in most cases it will not affect the sound.
