The French Planet M speaker systems are considered to be more compact alternative to the bestseller - Planet L. The diameter of spherical body of Planet M is 150 mm (Planet L has 290 mm) and in terms of design the systems look like absolute twins. Elegant spheres, available in five different colors, hide quite serious construction, designed in accordance with strict canons of hi-fi. The engineers preferred coaxial assembly of drivers, the characteristics of which are closest to the point sound source. Lower part of the working band is sounded by 100 mm driver with the diffuser made of pressed cellulose, and a 20-mm tweeter with light silk dome starts working from 2500 Hz. The special attention was paid to internal elements, among which we should note a precise crossover and wire layout, made by wire from high-purity oxygen-free copper. Even input terminals are massive and covered with silver. Like many other similar systems, Planet M allows several variants of placement in a room. The satellites can be installed on the attachable aluminum base rings or hang on a wall or ceiling.

Sound of the French systems attracts by plasticity and liveliness of playing. The middle seems to be close to natural; the upper range is surprisingly pure. Planet M have quite high overloading capacity and can successfully work in even spacious rooms. There are certain advantages in stereo effect, created by the systems. At rational distance between the speaker systems the space doesn't almost have lapses and built with laudable accuracy. Additive in form of active sub should yield certain dividends. This will give the sound not only low-frequency base and smooth tonal balance, but also normalize the scale of sound stage.
