Canton AS 50 Subwoofer

Active Subwoofer 50 is well-equipped and the most powerful among low-frequency Canton devices. There are linear and high-amplitude inputs/outputs (RCA are closed by plugs), controls of band, level and signal phase on the service panel. The terminals are shorted by pairs - LCF is missing everywhere. The phase can be regulated within 0-180 degrees with a step of 4.5. Magnetic shielding is provided. The sub has quite small nonlinear distortion - 1.2% at 94 decibels with a record cleanness in deep bass. The lower border is 28 Hz.

Such bass is worth much. At any narrative disasters there is always a power reserve in the sub. It is impossible to quantify it. It is difficult to overestimate distinguished dynamics of deep bass, which feels spacious in the room; it has a "readable" form of an object. When an airbus flies in the screen, you feel like you are at the airdrome: a huge addition to impressions! Shotgun shot won't be confused with "Beretta" - a good for large head reaction speed with the full opening of the band even improves. The bass is balanced in this mode: there are a "crushing" front, massive content, and almost no coloring. Canton AS 50 requires careful setting in musical apps and, surprisingly, is better combined with shelf speaker systems. The sub has all properties to work in high class AV-systems.
