Morel PSW10 Subwoofer

The unusual shape of the case of a subwoofer, cast from a composite, is due not only to design considerations, but also completely justified from an acoustic point of view - there is a minimum of resonances and internal reflections. Morel PSW10 has a proprietary 10-inch driver with a flat membrane, a vented basket and a 50-millimeter voice coil. The load for the driver is a bass reflex port with a special port profile that minimizes air side tones. The built-in amplifier with a rated power of 200 watts activates the driver. The only input is the linear RCA terminals, and additional service function is the automatic turn-on when the signal is received.

The nature of the sub's sound can be described as moderately intelligent. It does not put pressure on the listener by insane expression or super-energetic feedback. In Morel PSW10 sub the reliability of low-frequency instruments comes to the fore. Bass guitar is extremely natural, and the drum kick is very similar to real. In our opinion, the best partners for the model will be shelf loudspeakers of average volume and, at the same time, you should a bit limit the sub's level. It is the reason when you can sometimes feel a slight compression, and at high volume - side tones of the outgoing airflow. But with a properly set level and cut-off frequency, the sound can be significantly improved. The depth of low frequencies in this case is quite sufficient for a typical room size. However, if there is a lack of feedback in bass, you can install a subwoofer near the wall or in the corner of the room.
