Audio Analogue Fortissimo Amplifier

Fortissimo model is one of the latest additions in Armonia line. The design is based on the principle of "divide and rule", i.e. to minimize mutual interference the end terminals are separated in the space of the body. A big toroidal transformer with separate windings for pre and output sections and also for service circuits and indication is installed in the power supply unit. For connection of sources there are four linear RCA inputs (one of them can work in Bypass mode), balanced XLR and Phono terminals for vinyl player. The amplifier can also boast a built-in DAC, equipped with coaxial, optical and USB interface (possibilities are slightly limited - it gets data only up to 16 bit/48 kHz.).

This Italian amplifier shows tonally balanced and sufficient energetic sound with minimal by ear coloring. Clear articulation of rhythm and neat open top attract in it. Bass component is moderately strong and deep and has a perfect control and speed characteristics. The sound seemed to be most attractive when we connected the source to a balanced input - in this case micro-dynamical qualities opens more fully. We also tested a digital section of the device. At work through USB the sound is quite comfortable, but the weightiest sound can be got via RCA input, where there are no limitations on parameters of input signal. Audio Analogue Fortissimo amplifier forms a maximally dense sound stage, the quality of which directly depends on a source. In our case there were no claims to space.
