Here is the reincarnation of bestseller BR2, referring the last generation of popular Bronze series. In addition to purely external changes, BX2 monitors received a number of significant technical innovations designed to increase sound quality. First of all, this is a new tweeter with extended working band and increased efficiency. As before, its dome is made of the patented C-CAM composite and covered by a protective grill. The woofer's diffuser is made by the same technology - its diameter is 165 mm. Load of driver is HiVe II bass-reflex, increasing bass capabilities of the speaker system. To increase overall rigidity the speakers come near directly rear wall of the loudspeakers. Moreover, this method allows you to significantly reduce the time required to assemble each pair.

Budget shelf speaker systems, Monitor Audio Bronze BX2, clearly inherited the features of older models. For example, the tweeter shows them fight by sound resolution as well as by naturalness of the playback in general. In MIDs there is an exemplary order: with minimum of coloring the elaboration of tonal crossfades pleases. Lower case differs by good movability and high fire rate. However, with quite decent for such compact systems depth sometimes side-tones of bass-reflexes, placed forward, disturb the intelligibility of playing basses. Do not be afraid: first, this happens at high volume; second, you can drown ports by the attached plugs, losing a little in the depth of bass. Sound stage is volumetric and correct in terms of proportions as well as positions of individual instruments.
