Magnat Quantum 502 are small but very serious loudspeakers. The German novelty has several distinguishing features. The bass-reflex port is placed to the back and is now made in fashionable design - in the form of a horn. Fmax tweeter due to fabric-polymer dome and ultra lightweight sound coil plays frequencies far beyond 20 kHz. 135-mm mid-woofer with durable aluminum dome differs by high efficiency too. The bodies are made with big reserve of rigidity - neither the faceplate, covered with a metallic grill, nor side walls do not give any slightest body's side-tones when tapped.

Musical balance of these systems is shifted in low-frequency case. For its sizes Magnat Quantum 502 have very punchy bass and, what is more surprising, keep high accuracy. But the middle is transferred less informative - the sound of strings is slightly simplified. Discants are transferred composedly, but at the same time with good detailing. And what is more, sound stage also indicates high class of the tweeters.
