Technics SU-VX500 Amplifier

The functionality is the same as that of the Kenwood KA-1030 amplifier. There are Aux inputs, connection of moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) pickups. When dubbing from one tape recorder to another, you can listen to any of the signals.

There is a direct input to the power amplifier. Having this input is very convenient for connecting a preamplifier, CD player, etc. Fans of old records will appreciate the "Mono-Stereo" switch.

The external design of the amplifier is impeccable. Massive threaded terminals are used to connect loudspeakers. The connectors for connecting a magnetic pickup are not gold-plated, which can make it difficult to connect a moving coil pickup. The rated power of the amplifier is 80 W/8 ohms and 120 W/4 ohms (for each channel).

The listening experience is clearly better than the Kenwood amplifier. At low volume levels, the sound quality is very good, both in terms of color and spatial perception.
