Boston Acoustics CR75 Bookshelf speakers

CR75 presents Compact Reference series, which recently included only compact monitors. A distinct feature of CR systems is the usage of special plastic, which the frontal and back panels and couplings between them, increasing the construction's rigidity, are made of. Side walls are made of MDF. The branded Kortec tweeter is built on a compact ferrite magnet. A plate-radiator attaches to the tweeter's magnet from the rear side. LF/MF-driver differs by the increased depth of a gap in the magnetic system - to linear the speed of sound coil. The proprietary technology of mounting the diffuser to suspension is used, which allows to reduce the level of nonlinear distortions, the responsibility for which is beard on mechanical part of the converter. Filters of first and second order are for the separation of bands. On the rear panel there is a slot for wall mounting.

Boston Acoustics CR75 showed very good dynamics at particularly difficult for shelf speaker systems low frequencies. At the same time, deep, moderately organized bass extremely harmoniously combines with MIDs that, in particular, contributes to the beauty of transfer of vocal base. Generally, sound images are one-piece, although with a slight emphasize in HF spectrum. The latter circumstance gives place not only, so to say, to freshness of flavor, but also slightly increased brightness of sound picture. Good resolution of high-frequency details detects positive sides of this moment - variety of timbres, accurate localization of the imaginary sources at virtual stage. The tweeter painlessly withstands the highest volume levels, but the sounds, at the same time, broadly attains a characteristic hard hint.

Boston Acoustics CR75 is good for electronic music, plays jazz very well. On the basis of four CR75 and CRC center you can build a powerful home theatre.
