Magnat Quantum 503 Bookshelf speakers

In the arsenal of Magnat Company you can find series for home cinema of various level and design, and audio monitors, and sets of built-in speaker systems, and also a wide set of car speaker systems. Quantum 503 is the most advanced shelf speaker system from 500th series (in comparison with models Quantum 501 and Quantum 502). "Deep-space" technology allows you to increase the speed and improve ventilation of a coil increasing the power, and a light and rigid aluminum diffuser provides clear playing. A 25-mm tweeter with a soft dome and powerful neodymium magnetic system is designed for uniform frequency response up to 55 kHz. This is made for the most accurate playing of SACD and DVD-Audio. All speakers are magnetically shielded. Elliptical bass-reflex port made by "Air flex" technology is on the back wall. The body of the speaker system is traditionally rectangular, made of MDF and reinforced by a system of bracings. 4 big gilt terminals on the back panel allow you to connect the speaker systems by Bi-wiring and Bi amping schemes.

The sound of Quantum 503 is natural in tonal respect, clear. Its undoubted advantage is an expressive and silky upper register. Beautiful tops combine with quite neutral middle and slightly colored bass. The lower register is not deep. The touch of nonlinearity here is significantly increased with raising the volume. Due to this there is the feeling of some simplification of sound when travelling from upper register to lower sector of spectrum. The music stage is pretty close to the listener - this enhances emotional involvement while listening. Panorama is airy, with clearly and effectively localized sources.
