Mordaunt-Short MS10i Classic Bookshelf speakers

Mordaunt-Short MS10i Classic is a two-way speaker system; bass-reflex port is in the upper part of the back panel. MF/LF head with a cone diffuser, made by the proprietary MCS technology, has the diameter of 120 mm. The diameter of a hard dome of the tweeter is 25 mm. The recommended amplifier's power range is 15-60W at max peak power 120W. Bi-wiring is provided. Sizes are 185x305x235 mm. Unshakeable design of Mordaunt-Short matches well mahogany finish, enhancing the massiveness of external look of quite compact pair.

At the listening MS10i showed good capabilities in almost all musical genres. Detailed and informative interpretation of classical instrumental and vocal compositions especially pleased. Mordaunt-Short MS10i Classic gives you possibility to get to the bottom of instrument's essence, responding to individual characteristics of its voice with commendable sensitivity. Low level of transient distortions allows you to feel the authenticity of piano staccato. But, perhaps, the system achieves the best result in playing of vocal - from powerful choral singing to solo parts of various styles. Vocal compositions in the performance of MS10i gladden by high expressiveness and accuracy of sound image. A careful listener can note a light dryness in sound, caused by slight deficit of low frequencies, which, however, is well compensated by high balance. The speaker system greatly copes with the interpretation of space, but panorama (virtual image of space, which contains the primary sources), may seem to be a bit blocked, but the listener can easily note the features of concert performance.
