System Audio SA720 Bookshelf speakers

System Audio SA720 was designed as universal model, having functions of both satellites in multi-channel system and central channel loudspeaker: three drivers in the d'Appolito configuration, reliable magnetic shielding, and two threaded holes for wall mounting. At closer look it turned out that the system is a 2.5-way: actions of one of LF/MF-drivers are limited by first ordered filter at the frequency of 500 Hz; the second one gladly works up to 3 kHz. The combination of high sensitivity and small "fast" LF/MF-drivers is one of the features of System Audio. The panels of massive body of SA720 are covered with natural veneer. The bass-reflex port is on the rear panel, universal block of terminals is in the same place.

The sound of System Audio SA720 is surely balanced, timbres are sonorous. Listening to the loudspeakers, you understand that, in fact, there is no a sufficiently deep bass, but something very attractive lies in the manner of sounding of lower part of the spectrum. Probably, the reason should be found in the accuracy of impulse response, indicating not only the accuracy of movements of woofers' diffusers, but good consistency of radiation of all the drivers. I want to note the attention of the system to small audio details. At audiophile recordings you can feel all "chamber" and "tasty" jazz sounds. System Audio SA720 is universal speaker system. It will be an excellent center for multi-channel system of the highest category, especially if the satellites are the same SA720.
