Aelite series of Acoustic Energy presents the speaker systems of premium class, yielding by the characteristics only to reference systems. Aelite 2 is recommended to be installed on the rack. Side walls made of 15-mm MDF bent to back panel. Natural wood veneer looks great. Sound. English systems sound huge, scaled and brassily. When you close your eyes you may not recognize what mini monitor plays. Acoustic Energy Aelite 2 shows almost floor bass: deep, three-dimensional, elastic, perfectly structured. Phonograms with significant LF content - orchestra, organ, electronic genres - sound in its playing with flair and drive. Vocal is great, especially the baritone solo. The system vividly conveys melodic elements of the compositions. HF information needs a bit more sharpness and articulation. The speaker system plays colorfuly, open. Polyphony of timbres, lines, contrasts is expressive. The sound has lots of air, space; music flows with wide wave.
