Creek Evolution 5350 AmplifierCreek Evolution 5350 was developed as universal model, being able to successfully work with speaker system of any difficulty. The amplifier has a symmetrical construction, in which each channel is mounted on a separate board, attached to its own radiator cooling system. Coupling capacitors are absent in the scheme, and direct component at the output is put under the control of servo system. The developers used a clever combination of polar and bipolar transistors. The main element of power supply unit is a powerful toroidal transformer with separate windings for each amplifying shoulder, fluorescent display and other auxiliary circuits. The sound character of the English amplifier is generally exciting and is not devoid of great share of sensibility. A valuable property of Creek Evolution 5350 is almost full absence of transistor rigidity, smooth and natural convey of the middle. Bass register is also presented extremely smoothly and very confidently by depth and by structure as well. Sound resolution is high throughout the playing range, but occasionally the upper case can seem to be slightly rough, not enough air. The space's scale is incredibly convincing and virtual images are positioned surprisingly accurately. ![]() |
