Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 Bookshelf speakers

Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 is one of two shelf loudspeakers of Diamond series. The diameter of the branded LF/MF-driver with Kevlar diffuser is larger than in Diamond 8.1. The tweeter works on neodymium magnet. Separate connection is provided.

Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 have very impressive for their "weight" category bass. In this case, bass dominant causes a corresponding shift of the "center of gravity" of the sound image. At the same time, its flavor is rich with timbral hints, the details of "second plan" are well-drawn. As a result, there is the impression of a colorful rich sound - very good for compact shelf loudspeaker. When you increase the volume, the transparency gradually decreases throughout the spectrum, priority of basses increases.

The range of musical genres, in which Diamond 8.2 feel very confidently, is quite wide: from modern rock and jazz to light classics. For correct coordination of loudspeaker with subwoofer it is desirable that the sub has the possibility to filter the signal (by high-pass filter) for front pair.
