Aiwa XA-950 Amplifier

This device combines tradition and modernity. On the one hand, special attention is paid to the possibility of listening to records and there is a record selector. And only the XA-950 has a head type switch

MM/MC and switchable sub-low pass filter. And on the rear panel, the pickup input is separated from the rest and conveniently functionally combined with the ground terminal. On the other hand, there is a dedicated input for connecting AV devices and an equalizer. Adherence to traditions in this device is also confirmed by the use of a relay input selector as switching elements. The remote control included with the amplifier provides a wide range of system control features for a set of branded blocks: in addition to the traditional basic functions of the amplifier and various sources (tuner, CD player, etc.), you can adjust the frequency response using the GEQ series equalizer and select one of the installed at production or by you personally (only 57 functions). At Aiwa, the tuner is the main unit that controls the system, and for this reason the system timer is built into it. Therefore, turning off the amplifier from the remote control is possible only if two conditions are met: the amplifier is used in conjunction with a tuner and is connected to a power outlet on its rear wall. To connect, and therefore control, other units of the stero system (with a total power consumption of not more than 100 W), there are two more power sockets on the amplifier itself. This amplifier has an output power of up to 150 watts into a 4 ohm load.
