ELAC BS 63.2 Bookshelf speakers

Here are typical two-way monitors with the bass-reflex, the port of which is located in the back. ELAC BS 63.2 are carefully made and assembled in maximally inert bodies, the main part of which is covered with qualitative vinyl. The massive front panel is finished, on the contrary, under piano lacquer that gives the speaker systems a solidity. On the front part there are two branded emitters, the bands between which are divided into 2300 Hz. A 175-mm woofer with the patented AS Cone diffuser works below this level. It has cellulose base, reinforced by the thinnest aluminum film and at the same time the advantages of both materials are kept. The upper band is given to an inch tweeter, its cloth dome is hidden uner the protetive mesh. The monitors are equipped with a foam plug for the bass-reflex ports - with its help you can build the bass character under the certain place of installation. Two-wire connection to an amplifier is provided.

ELAC BS 63.2 sound in the best Germain traditions. We can note here tonal neutrality and high sound resolution at the most important parts of the range. The extreme top is a bit emphasized, but this in the most cases only refreshes the sound. The middle is convex and clear. Bass band is extremely convincing by both speed, depth and saturation. Discants are precise; in general, the tweeter's resolving ability is very high. The sound at high level is perceived a bit defocused, a slight compression is also possible. The scene is extremely three-dimentional, without simplifications in the foreground. Three-dimensionality of panorama at the accurate installation of the system is guaranteed.
