The design of loudspeaker system is similar to all two-hundredth line of acoustics of JPW. Not bad damped sidewalls are smoothly rounded to a front panel and are qualitatively finished wood grain by vinyl. All front wall is closed by the plastic textured vanity panel of silvery color which, in turn, is decorated by removable metallic grill. Besides, the vanity panel actually acts also as a Alpine horn for slightly drowned fabric 25-millimetric (1 inch) tweeter.

Bass reflex is brought to the rear side and differs in very modest diameter (usually it is tried to be made more long to reduce the speed of the air movement in the port and by that to reduce "aerodynamic" noises). From below also the binding posts are placed in the row. By sight they the most usual, but are located and tilted so that it is possible to connect a cable with any type of the terminal to them.

Nature of these loudspeaker systems sounding generally repeats the work of big JPW systems. The strong, but easy diffuser of a midbas doesn't colour the sound also reproduces all musical nuances. The tweeter plays a little simplier - top is rather plentiful, than ringing and distinct, but the discants are transferred quite realistic.

Of course, dynamic opportunities of small monitors can't be compared to that which can provide "towers" and they have another bass - not such fine and stentorious. But 202nd can't be abused in weakness. They can be compared on dynamics and a pressure with the systems which are coster for couple of hundreds dollars. At a high loudness the sounding gets the bright notes, and the buzzing low-frequency and paraphase additional side tons are shown more strongly, but the monitors give out a distinct, comfortable sound on average sound pressure. There was only an easy air veil which fills the scene volume, but it doesn't disturb the live audition.

While we tried 202 musical programs of modern genres on JPW, there was an impression that there are simply good and sound systems for own money before us, without any special talents. But once you moved to classics, there are the British monitors at once - by the way, the most inexpensive of all - completely changed the idea about themselves. The top seeming earlier not too pure and metal appeared suddenly in absolutely other background: all scene began to sound in real "rosin" of bowed and was filled with that special atmosphere which happens only in a concert hall. The midpoint acted as the ideal conductor to the thinnest overtones of orchestral instruments sounding. The systems transmitted all awe of live execution through the intelligible and low bass. Here, it turns out what they are created for.
