Creek Evolution 2 Amplifier

Today we have an updated version of the popular Evolution model, released a few years ago. Changes, first of all, related to electronic stuffing - many important components were transferred from the top Destiny series. So, the preliminary section is built on low-noise amplifiers OPA2134, a high-current PGA2311 chip is used as a level controller, and switching of inputs is carried out using relays with gold-plated contacts. To reduce the mutual influence of individual parts of the circuit, a multi-circuit power supply is used - the most critical to sound circuits are fed from their own windings of the toroidal transformer. The functionality of the amplifier was also underwent further development. The engineers added to the four line inputs AV Direct terminals to use the amplifier together with the theater processor.

Creek Evolution 2 amplifier distinguishes with an extremely clear sound with a fairly linear tonal and musical balance. The character of the middle frequencies leaves the strongest impression - exactly this part of the spectrum is maximally open and detailed. In addition, there is almost no noticeable coloring. The bass potential of the amplifier did not disappoint too. The low-frequency component is powerful and has decent speed indicators. The only fault (however, not too significant) - the deepest bass is not always under the perfect control. The top is absolutely free from extraneous sounds and is as natural as possible. Discants are strictly delineated and do not have a toxic coloring, being typical to some transistor amplifiers.
