Mirage M190is Bookshelf speakers

Mirage M190is is a two-way shelf speaker system of bass-reflex type from Canada. Like in all "Mirages" of 90th series its design differs by the strictness of forms, firmness of "techno style". The sizes are 184x372x250 mm, the weight is 6.3 kg. The diameter of titan dome of the tweeter is 2.54 cm; polypropylene cone of mid-low-frequency speaker is 14 cm. The recommended power of amplifier is from 15 to 110 W, maximal input power can reach 125 W per channel. The measured frequency response, like a truthful mirror, reflects the traditional branded quality of the system for home Hi-Fi complex. Its mid- and high-frequency parts cause especially strong satisfaction. The ripple here does not exceed ±2 dB, cutoff frequency is 22 kHz by level of -3 dB. Such parameters guarantee the sound originality of wide range of music, but string orchestral and vocal compositions will sound especially good. However, probably in "high classics", whose, who collects phonograms of complex symphonic music, can slightly feel the deficit of basses. Beam pattern predicts a reliable stereo effect in compliance with standard recommendations on installation of the speaker systems at the distance of 2-3 m apart each other and not less than 0.5 m from the walls. The system's sensitivity is relatively low and is 85 dB. Filter crossover frequency of the loudspeakers is 1.8 kHz; setting frequency of the bass-reflex is 50 Hz; nominal input impedance is 8 Ohms.
