JBL ATX-20 Bookshelf speakers

There are no frills in the design of JBL ATX-20 speaker system - everything is rational. An adequate tweeter is with a small membrane and ferrite magnet. A serious woofer with the diffuser, coated by polymer film, promises not to violate all-honored branded LF-traditions. A lightweight body is made of 18-mm MDF. Filters are simple (coils with steel cores).

Dense, slightly aggressive sound is generally perceived to be tonally balanced. And a small emphasize in LF with the leveling of dynamical contrasts by the speaker system leads to the feeling of sound softness. A normal detailing of an image is kept up to very decent volume levels. But, of course, at high volume levels the quality of sound does not remain to be completely unpunished.
