Aiwa AD-WX929 Cassette deck

Aiwa AD-WX929 looks compact, it is equipped with many features - Dolby B, C noise reduction systems, HX Pro dynamic bias system, automatic tape type selection and a timer.

When you turn on the Repeat mode, the same piece of recorded material is played back. The Blanc Skip mode provides the ability to "jump" playback over empty spaces in recorded material if they are longer than 12 seconds. The listener can also use the following modes of the Aiwa AD-WX929 deck: search for individual fragments of recorded material, indicated by numbers from 1 to 15, zeroing the counter (return to position 0000), as well as Cue mode (rewind with simultaneous listening). The Play Trim mode adjusts the saturation of the recorded material with high frequencies, and this adjustment can be made at four levels.

Calibration (setting the bias current and recording level) of the recorded material can be enabled using the Data System mode, which is available on both cassettes. The set parameters of the Aiwa AD-WX929 remain stored in memory and are not erased for one week after the device is turned off.

After calibration (setting the bias current and recording level), the playback of material recorded on cassettes TDK AD and TDK SF is very good.
