Kenwood KE-7090 Equalizer

This equalizer differs by a big indicator, rich information whichdrops down on you immediately after turning Demo on by travelling line. The design of KE-7090 is typical for the device from 90th seriesof Kenwood. It provides only the simultaneous control by two channels like most of equalizers with electronic regulation. By the way, also there is a single indication mode of the spectrum analyzer - peak mode with memorization of level at 0,5 seconds. But the number of provided fixed setups and their combinations can throw a listener into dilemma: listen or tune? After several hours of exercises it became clear that you can't get a feel all the features of this device in such a short test: you need to experiment with it for several months. But, one bound appeared at once, which reduces, to our mind, the efficiency of control. If you start to go through the fixed characteristics of music genres (GENRE), after the fixation of the chosen one KE-7090 doesn't allow quick turn off and re-enable correction circuits ("bypass" mode) and you can't appraise the efficiency of its work as equalizer. However, it is possible with manual setup or the choice of standard characteristics (reference). The device is very comfortable when you need to make a record on the tape for playing on a player or car audio. Unlike the other equalizers, which have HEADPHONE and CAR STEREO modes, it is possible here to crowd any of these characteristics to any other.
