AIWA XC-750 CD-player

The Aiwa designers seem to have gone to great lengths to ensure that owners of Aiwa equipment enjoy maximum comfort when ripping CDs to cassettes. The Aiwa XC-750 is equipped with really rich copying functionality. In addition to the usual modes, there is also shuffle playback, automatic shuffling for compact placement on a tape cassette when ripping, various repeat modes, fade-in, fade-out and peak-search. During the listening it was noted some lack of spaciousness (especially in the low frequencies) and a slightly "poisonous" sound of the middle frequencies with a lack of bass. During the linearity test no errors were found.
