Aiwa AV-X200 AV-receiverGraceful shapes and sizes make the receiver AV-X200 ideal for the line of Aiwa video equipment. DSP (digital signal processing) provides four SURROUND modes and three variants of the central channel in Dolby Pro Logic mode. The level of back channels is adjusted in the limits from -10 dB up to +5 dB with its indication on the display. Signal delay of the back channels can be chosen from two meanings - 20 or 30 msec. Tone's controls in their usual sense are absent, but AV-X200 provides the user other possibilities. BBE is used for the underlining of high frequencies and SUPER-BASS is used for the underlining of low frequencies. However, often it is more convenient to choose one of the fifth variants of specified frequency response: ROCK, JAZZ, CLASSIC and so on. Also there is an output for active subwoofer. Input selector is performed in original way - its keys have green color and they are red in active state. The receiver's tuner operates in VHF, MF and LW ranges and can be pre-configured at 32 stations in manual or auto mode or direct frequency setting. The reception of eight codes of RDS system is possible. The remote control allows you to control all this magnificence from another room too if you connect the included additional device - HT-M301, looking like a computer mouse. At the testing the device showed a good sound with pronounced effects. Some excess of low frequencies allows playing video sound effects very truly. I can also note a confident work of the tuner. |
