Sony STR-DH720 AV-receiver

Sony STR-DH720 receiver has everything you need to create a good home theater system. It has a 7-channel amplifier (85 watts per channel), advanced analog switching and HD Digital Cinema Sound technology, designed jointly with Sony Pictures. There are four HDMI inputs. USB connection is possible. Owners of Apple devices will not be disappointed too - it is also supported. Among the already familiar attributes, there is an automatic calibration system DCAC, which allows you to accurately tune in to the parameters of a particular room.

In the case of digital connection, the sound of the receiver is fairly neutral, with a slight accent in the middle band. Music records are presented with sufficient detailing and confident dynamics, but at times the edges of the range are perceived to be somewhat smoothed. This can be developed in a small loss of solidity of the bass register and leveling of thin high-frequency details.

Reproduction at the analog input seems to be a bit more sonorous. In this case, the dynamic range expands noticeably, the overall sound resolution increases. The change of connection affects well at the edges of the working band - discants become more natural.

In home theater mode there were fewest claims to Sony STR-DH720. Thanks to a powerful digital platform, the receiver is able to provide a spectacular sound space that does not have obvious gaps.
