B&W LCR3 Center Speaker

LCR3 is made in one with DM series style. The speaker system of central channel has the branded tweeter, which is equipped with exponential waveguide from the rear side of membrane and also the branded "low-noise" bass-reflex port. The speaker system is very compact and will find place even on a small TV.

B&W LCR3 is a good example of "audiophile" center. Excellent tonal balance obliges front "partners" to great deals. However, sometimes slight "lightening" of flavor is still noticeable. Plans are well detected. The effect of a kind of air perspective appears very clearly: audio events, which happen nearby, are volume, contrast; with the distance the relief is leveled, details are seen weaker. The amount of explored bass is adequately to tasks, performed by the center.

B&W LCR3 is characterized by high resistance to overloads, the lack of expressive tonal accents. Big plus is small sizes. But this doesn't mean that it necessarily requires small front pair - the system will also show good team-work with floor standing speaker systems.
