Canton AS 125 Subwoofer

A 310-mm woofer with aluminum diffuser is located in the upper part of the front panel of CantonAS 125 sub. Under the speaker there is a large mouth of bass-reflex. Nominal power of the amp is not high (200W), but the stated frequency range is impressive: 20-200 Hz. Volume, cutoff frequency of the crossover's filter and phase are smoothly controlled. Switches of compensation mode of room's resonance and auto turn-on are provided. There are three pairs of RCA connectors: stereo input, through stereo output and stereo output after HF-filter on 80 Hz. Terminals of high-level input and output also present.

Sound. Low-frequency artillery of Canton AS 125 shows high accuracy of bass scope. The sub constantly strikes elastic, dense, weighty sound kernels dead on target. Bass differs by the accuracy of attack, clarity of tonal structure. The depth of case and high speed of impulse response at the playing of military noises in action movies, energetically electronic bass of rock compositions impress. We managed to build a perfect musical 2.1 system with the participation of both floor and shelf speaker systems.
