In contrast to most of central speaker systems on the market Monitor Audio Gold GXC150 has the closed design. This not only guarantees better impulse characteristics, but also allows you to install the speaker system close to wall. The main feature is a ribbon tweeter - the drivers of this type differ not only by extended working band, but also stunning sound resolution. Two 5,5-inch heads with the proprietary C-CAM diffusers (the patented by Englishmen composite) are installed on the edges of the faceplate. Notches are made on the surfaces of each one, which increase rigidity (RST technology). The quality of lacquer finish is on the highest level. Five variants are available at option.

As expected, Monitor Audio GXC150 is a confident leader in sound resolution at high frequencies. Due to this reason even the most subtle effects, forming the atmosphere, do not escape notice. Low-frequency band is weighty enough, but in the area of section there is a slight non-linearity, a bit depriving male voice of soundness. Problems with dynamics are also not observed in this case - the speaker system confidently transfers the most powerful bursts of energy.
